News this weekend from Luxembourg, Europe - number of dogs entered approximately 4200 dogs!! - from Edwin with the good news that our boy Mark not only became a Luxembourg Champion but finished the weekend off by winning BEST IN GROUP at this very prestigious show! Congratulations Edwin and Kristina and hugs for Markie Boy!

This lovely win came after our co owned boy Legend won BEST IN SHOW yesterday in Newcastle! Great work Shannon, Legend's handler.

Congratulations to Susan Ramm and her girl Freya on picking up more points towards her Championship title too on Saturday. Special mention to Graham Mair and Kira - Carmellis Ramira Ashlaren (imp NZ) - on her lovely RU BEST OF BREED at 2010 Adelaide Royal! Quite an achivement for this young girl!
Good news also from Diane Brown in Victoria with her Oska daughter - Bindi - winning BOB and MINOR IN GROUP! Congratulations everyone!

Weekend results from Australia and Italy
It was a big weekend for Ashlaren Weimaraners with a BEST IN SHOW win at the Italian Weimaraner Specialty for the daughter of our great sire Oska - she is aptly named Veni Vidi Vici aka 'Molla' - and the photo (left) shows Molla's outstanding headpiece.
Molla was bred by Piccoli Principi & Royal Weim's kennels ITALY, so big CONGRATULATIONS to our friends and Molla's breeders -Max and Dario - from all the Ashlaren team in Australia on this huge win for such a young girl not even two years old! This win follows the recent award of GRAND AMERICAN CHAMPION for another well known girl sired by Oska and that is Imperium Star Ivette, currently winning big time in the USA!
Meanwhile, in Victoria this weekend, Diane Brown of Silversheen Weimaraners, had a very successful weekend with her two Oska youngsters who are still in Minor :Puppy class - Spook and Bindi - on notching up more challenge points towards their Aust Championship titles.
In Queensland, Amanda Williamson's (Ashbolt Weimaraners) young dog, Lucas, who has just turned 6 months, came home with 27 points after a very successful weekend of shows, with ,multi BOB wins, and multi Class in Group wins.! This young star is sired by our boy Mark, who is currently turning heads in Europe! I am sure there are lots more big wins for Lucas to come in the near future!
And for our team entered at well attended Dalwood Charity Shows held in Sydney this weekend, our boy Carnmellis Bravo Ashlaren (IMP NZ) won BEST OF BREED and RUNNER UP BEST IN GUNDOG GROUP today at this big show, which was also a Weimaraner Club of NSW Point Score Show so there was a big entry of Weimaraners!
We also won Reserve Challenge Bitch with our Intermediate bitch, Ashlaren NYE Greetings Greta, whilst our new girl - Ashlaren Mark's Zaleta - who is also sired by Mark, won Minor in Gundog Group and went on to win another BEST MINOR PUPPY IN SHOW!! This win followed hot on the heels of Zallie's Minor in Show win at her previous show two week's ago.

Oska's daughter Ivette becomes an AMERICAN GRAND CHAMPION!!!
What a weekend with Multi BISS Ch/Am Ch Ivette Imperium Star gaining her AMERICAN GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP! Ivette is sired by our Multi Int Ch Ashlaren Caipiroska, ('OSKA') sire of multi Best in Show/Multi European Champions.
Congratulations Chris Keel-Herbold (Elits Weimaraners Florida, USA) on this huge achievement in such a short time of Ivette being campaigned in the USA which began in May 2010 by winning Best Bitch at the Weimaraner Club of America Nationals!
Ivette's sire - Oska - is only available at stud to approved bitches...
Ivette is currently No 9 Weimaraner in USA!
...and in GERMANY, Ashlaren Imperium Star ("Sophie") is awarded her German Championship title!
Sophie has also achieved the following titles since leaving Ashlaren to live with Paulina Walkowska of Imperium Star Weimaraners in Poland....

Photo shows Finn (Zilverein Leap of Faith) bred by Karen and Jim Gibson of Ireland, along with Alice and Mac - three youngsters who have won BIG TIME this weekend in Ireland.
All these outstanding youngsters were sired by frozen semen sent to Ireland from our boy Aust Ch Ashlaren Reuben! (Reuben is available at stud to approved bitches.)
Meanwhile in Victoria, Australia, Carol Wright of Grauhund is looking forward to showing her new male puppy - Grauhund Kid Onth Run - "Bandit" - ( also sired by Aust Ch Ashlaren Reuben) This little guy sure looks a stunning baby and we wish Carol lots of fun with Bandit! (love the name Carol!)

Zallie wins MINOR IN SHOW

Ashlaren Marks Zaleta, our lovely young Minor puppy sired by BIS Aust Ch/Am Ch/Can Ch Davora Bremar Mark of Ashlaren won Minor in Show at the Gundog Society Show against a strong line up of youngsters today, judged by WA Gundog Specialist Mr W Byrne. Zallie's mother is our beautiful Ava - Graysville Ava of Ashlaren (IMP NZ).
Another Mark offspring, Ashlaren Signature Series won Puppy of Breed whilst Ashlaren Grishams Mark won Puppy in Group at Nowra All Breeds show today.
David Hall's new Champion, Ch Carnmellis Jovita Ashlaren today won Reserve Challenge Bitch at the Gundog Society show held in Sydney.This Gundog Specialty show was a Weimaraner Club Point Score whilst Challenge and RUBOB was won by Ch Ashlaren Reuben's lovely Grand Ch Greyhope Repeat After Me.
..And a very excited newcomer to dog showing, Katie O'Loughlin of Sydney, took home her new puppy "Memphis" - Ashlaren King Memphis - who will make his debute in the Sydney show ring very soon! Memphis is sired by Carnmellis Bravo Ashlaren (IMP NZ) out of Aust Ch Ashlaren Ruby Red. Welcome Katie to the Ashlaren Team and have lots of fun with Memphis!

New Australian Champion for a New Exhibitor to Dog Showing!

Congratulations to David Hall and his young Junior girl 'Madison' (Aust Ch Carnmellis Jovita Ashlaren IMP NZ) on gaining her Australian Championship title and winning Best of Breed at the weekend.
Madison has been an absolute joy for David, her handler and newcomer to dog showing, and has had an amazing journey of outstanding wins to her title. Madison won Reserve Challenge and Best Puppy in Show under Breed Specialist, Dana Massey at just 6 months at the NSW Weimaraner Club Specialty show and at just 12 months, won Junior in Show at the Australian Weimaraner National in May this year. David has handled Madison throughout the learning months and has done exceptionally well learning how to handle in the show ring with Madison! Great Work David!
Madison is sired by American import - Am/Can/NZ Ch WinWeim Rio Grande and her lovely mother is Multi Best in Show winner - Aust/NZ Ch Ashlaren Sophie Sapphire.
Meanwhile, Madison's brother Bravo (Carnmellis Bravo Ashlaren IMP NZ) has been used at stud with three very promising litters on the ground already and other litters due in the next few weeks. His babies will be hitting the show rings in South Australia and NSW in a few weeks, whilst his semen will soon be going to Europe.
...and another Puppy in Group win for Mark's son, Ashlaren Grishams Mark ('Casper') on the weekend for newcomer, Wayne Sewell. Both Casper and Wayne have now got their act together and I am sure they will have a lot more fun in the show ring in the future!

Congratulations to new breeder, Amanda Williamson of Ashbolt Weimaraners in Qld, with her 5 month old boy Lucas, sired by our import from Canada, Mark, who has amassed an impressive winning record of 3 x BABY IN SHOW awards (two of these awards this weekend at consecutive shows in Qld), 5 x BABY IN GROUP awards, 3 x first placings in 3-6 SWEEPSTAKES!.
Lucas and Amanda have achieved all these outstanding results in only 8 weeks of hitting the show ring!! CONGRATULATIONS!! Looks like Lucas has a great show career ahead of him! Meanwhile, we look forward to seeing Mark's European babies in the show rings around Europe soon!

Great results for Mark this weekend in Germany with his BEST IN GROUP on Saturday, followed by his Reserve BEST IN SHOW on Sunday...all wins under 5 different FCI judges from various European countries too! (entry of about 2000 dogs)

The most prestigious win of all this weekend was in Germany for our boy in Europe - MARK

who won Best of Breed and went on to win BEST IN GROUP at a big indoor show in GERMANY!!!
The judges were Wilfried Pepper and Erwin Deutscher, both FCI judges from Germany!! It is extremely exciting to win in the country of origin of the Weimaraner under German judges too...... Mr Deutscher commented about Mark's head...quote..."WHAT A MASTERPIECE OF A HEAD!"
Great result Mark and Edwin Lenearts of Greyclassic Weimaraners, Belgium who is currently campaigning Mark in Europe for Ashlaren. CONGRATULATIONS Edwin and to all our Best of Breed, Best in Group and Class in Group winners as well as the Class in Show winners everywhere this weekend!
